Microsoft365 - Password Reset (Provided)

In the instance where you are provided with a new Microsoft365 password, a password reset will be required.

Once a temporary password has been provided to you by you will be required to change the password upon first login.

To change your Microsoft365 password after being provided a temporary password:
  1. Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.) and visit the Outlook.com sign in page.
  2. Once you have reached the Outlook.com sign in page, enter in your company email address and click "Next"
  3. When prompted, enter in the temporary password that was provided to you and then click "Sign In"
  4. The next screen will require you to change your password prior to logging into Office365.
    1. If prompted for your "current password" - the current password in this case is the temporary password that was provided to you.
Once your password has been changed, you will be able to successfully access all assigned Office365 resources. 

*Note:
  1. When accessing Microsoft365 desktop applications such as Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and Microsoft Teams, you may be prompted to enter in your password. In this case, you are required to enter the new password you just created.
  2. Be sure you change the password on any mobile devices (iPhone/iPad/Android) that you were using to access Microsoft365/Email.
