Creating a shortcut to a Mapped Drive

In some instances, you may want a shortcut to your mapped drive put on your desktop. The steps below will walk you through the process.
  1. Begin by finding the mapped drive for which you want to create a shortcut
  2. Right click on the mapped drive you want to create a shortcut to and select "Create Shortcut"

  3. Once selected, choose "Yes" to place a shortcut on your desktop

  4. This will immediately place a shortcut on your desktop for quick access to the network drive.
